$12,500 "payed" to the daughter of a candidate for work during a city council campaign that is funded publicly. The candidate must now show that such an expense was justified. As always, no governmental money comes without strings.

Given everything that government is being asked to do the total number of elected officials at the state and Congressional levels should be doubled. The executive branch should remain in the hands of one governor and one president.
